Subject: Truckin'
I specifically remember when they went into Truckin', Bob's microphone wasn't working. He walked up to it a few times to start singing and it wasn't on (or something). It just didn't work...and each time he tried, he got more and more irritated. Finally, he kicked over the microphone stand. Took are of that problem! =) We were sitting on the right side of the stage and I remember that very well. Great night, though, and great concert! Thanks for posting this!

Subject: My First Show, Thanks!
As mentioned this was my first show. We stuck around for 3-20 but ran out of money and went home after that. Long ago I sought out tapes of this show and never found anything passable. Upon the dawn of the digital era I sought it out again and was able to find a "sbd" of dubious quality. Eventually I went with the better sounding audio.

Then, upon my 24 year anniversary, I came here and found Joe's excellent source. Thanks for uploading this show. I had always wondered why I saw so many mic stands at the shows but never heard a good recording. This is the source I've been waiting for.

Solid show, I love the Visions. I also loved the screwed up Truckin'. When Bob said, on 3-20 just before they played Box of Rain, that they were going to prove practice makes perfect, I was fully expecting them to play Truckin' again. Little did I know, at the time, the significance of that moment. Thanks again Joe, for sharing this excellent source.

Another great D'amico of a very good performance. The Playing in the Band on here is another unsung hero of the 1980's. It devolves towards the end in a pleasantly eerie way. Visions of Johanna was always stunning. China-Rider, not too shabby.

THANK YOU, JOE!!! This version just started making the rounds recently and what an improvement. This is a very good show from an underrated year. There's not too much to not like about this one. A definate keeper!
